Hey, I’m new here and to video editfing as well. I’m using Adobe Premiere and feel as if I am missing something here. I’ve tried things such as changing opacity, using blurs, adjusting color and even editing lighting. However, I feel as if my problem is either simpler than all that or stems from the recording.

I am a YouTuber who is just starting to do self interview style videos and this is my first video (a tech review). I feel as if the video is too harsh and not clean and “soft” like other YouTubers I watch. Would someone mind taking a quick look at the video to see what I should be working on right off the bat?

Thank you and sorry to be such a newb. I appreciate all and any feedback you can give.

Looks fine here, up to HD. Is it possible you were looking at a low res version as the higher res versions were being processed?

Thanks for the reply. It’s possible but I think maybe I’m just being overly critical? I felt as if I was over exposed or the lighting was too harsh. When I look at YouTubers such as this: https://youtu.be/tO3Sy65xRkQ the quality seems to be softer if that makes sense. Perhaps it’s just a better camera and lens?

Sorry I accidentally linked the ad to the video I was trying to show. This is the correct link: https://youtu.be/5R0_FJ4r73s
