How can I change a bad pan/dolly shot
I have a quadcopter shot that dollies around the turbine and pans badly.
Is there a way that i can remove/smooth the pan as it jerks really quickly?Thanks

Try experimenting with the Warp Stabilizer effect, but don’t expect miracles.

Hi,
You can go try to smooth it down with an effect in Premiere called “Warp Stabilizer”. It’s in the video effects panel. Depending on what exactly you want done, you can smooth some of the movement out with this effect. However, if you do too much, the video will literally looked warped and will distort. So, if you’re just trying to smooth it out a little bit, change the “Stabilization result” to “Smooth motion” and “Smoothness” % to around 20%. Render the clip out once complete and check the results. If it is too warped, turn down the %. Best of luck!

Well there is the warp stabilizer which is completely hit-or-miss. I don’t know how frequent or jerky these pans are, but if they are a few giant ones you can scale up the video a bit, then manually keyframe the position parameter to keep items of interest in the center of frame. If that wields slightly jerky results you can nest that sequence then apply warp stabilizer to the nest
