  Gopro mixed footage in Premiere CC

  Hello everyone,

  I’m trying to learn video editing in Premiere CC so, I apologise if my questions are stupid or don’t make much sense: I’m a newbie in this area.

  So, I have a lot of footage from my GoPro 3 with different fps/sizes:

  – 720p 120fps
  – 1080p 30 fps
  – 1080p 60 fps
  – 2.7k 30 fps

  I want to edit my footage to upload a video to vimeo. I know that the final export should be 720p at 30fps.
  Here’s what I’m having some hard time figuring out: what should be my sequence settings? I know I can drag a clip to the timeline and it will match that clip settings but I’m not sure if my 120fps 720p clips should define the sequence settings (i just think it sounds strange to edit at 120fps).

  I don’t want to do anything special. I just want to create some slow-motion parts (with the 720p footage) and get some advantage of the extra canvas space I get from 1080p and 2.7k, that allow me to pan, zoom, etc.

  How should I set my sequence? Can I just drag the 720p 120fps footage (since I know that I do want 1280×720 but at 30fps) ignoring those 120 fps? If I export at 30fps in the end, will it be ok?

  I’m really confused about this and would like to hear from experts in this area like you guys.

  transcode all of the files to have the same base frame rate so they play back in slow mo and then import into PP
