  Effects before sizing

  In PP CS5 is it possible to put various effects (such as color correction) ahead of the default “Motion” effect? I want to perform various effects before using the “scale” effect to resize video clips.

  Apply effects, right click and nest your footage and then scale the new nested sequence that is created.

  Alternately, if Premiere CS5 has it then go to Effects > Distort > Transform, and it’s the same set of controls as the motion layer along with a few more for skew and motion blur.
