Is an m2t file necessarily an HD file? I captured it using my trial version of premiere pro. the program said that it couldn’t set the capture settings to hd, but when it saved the file it is an m2t file and I thought that was an HD file… any thoughts on that?

    Many thanks,

    Lillian

A m2t file isn’t necessarily HD, it can be SD. M2T is the type of transport stream used in Blu-Rays for instance.
