  1080 playback ok, 720 bad?

  I am a new user to PPro. Running CS6. I am hoping this is an easy one for experienced users. My system will playback 1080 footage just fine in our client monitor, but not 720. Same encode specs on the footage. Both play fine in the computer monitor, just not client monitor.

  In FCP there is a playback setting which needs to be changed to match the sequence settings for best playback. In PPro the only thing I can find is Blackmagic Playback, and there are no options there.

  What framerate is your 720p sequence running at? The 720p signal format only accepts 50fps (PAL) or 60fps (NTSC).

  Yeah I think that is it. Blackmagic won’t playback 23.98. I cut and pasted the 23.98 footage into a 59.94 timeline and now all is good.
