ok so I regularly producing videos and to keep many projects organized I have a set file structure with many folders and sup folders for each project.
Because I do work on so many projects I wonder if there is a way to write a script for PPro to create the folders sub folders for me and even copy and rename some of my templates.

here is an example of what my file structure might be like

    Project: Cow

    12-7-11 Cow (main project folder)
    -audio
    -footage
    –Titles
    —video title layout template cow.psd
    -DVD
–12-7-11 Cow.ncor (encore template project file)
    –12-7-11 Cow (encore project folder)
    -Renders
    –web
    –DVD
    -12-7-11 cow.prproj
    -render color corection tempale.aep
    –lossless

so the script would duplicate and rename according to the new project name.

would it be a better idea to just to make a script outside of PPro? like a cmd command program?
I dont know how to make scripts but I think it will speed up our workflow a bit 🙂
thanks for your help and advice
