Title Text Effects
Hey guys,
I came from using Sony Vegas Movie Studio to Premiere Pro. I’m a hobbyist – all my videos are mostly just family videos, nothing that pays the bills (yet!).
Anyway, I’ve done a few short videos in Premiere Pro and I want to see if there is a better way to do what I am trying to accomplish. I am on CS5.5 by the way.
I am working on a title slide. My son’s name, Landon Nicholas Reuter, I want to appear of a textured background, but each word separately. So, the first frame appears, music fades in, textured background. Then the word Landon fades in. Then a second or so later the word Nicholas fades in.
The only way I have figured out how to do this is by having a title slide for every single word and keyframing them all in. This seems horribly tedious to me, especially if you want to do a lot on a single page. I have four elements in this case, “Landon”, “Nicholas” “Reuter” and then another one showing the birth information “June 14th, 2012” plus the background.
Is there an easier way to do this? Or do I really need five title slides? on top of each other each individually keyframed?
