  Sequence Auto Plays after rendering

  I have noticed there is a preference in Premiere that I would like to turn off. After rendering a selected area in a sequence, it auto-plays starting at the beginning of the sequence. So I could be 10 minutes into my timeline, render a couple of clips and it immediately goes back to frame 1 and starts playing. Where is the option to turn this odd and annoying feature off?

  Goto menu:

  Premiere Pro ==> Preferences ==> General: deselect ‘Play work area after render’

  FYI in Premiere Pro CC, it’s now under Preferences ==> Timeline
