Still working out this transition from FCP.

Been happily editing a project for several days, learning much as I go along. Then I boot up Premier, project is still intact but video is not displaying in the program or source monitors.

I do see thumbnails in the browser. I’m using an older iMac with limited processing power but so far enough to edit with no major problems.

Also, now the CTI freezes up and playback is a problem. Sounds like it’s hardware issue but the system has been running fine until now. The external media drive seems to be okay and I have no other apps running.

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

Sounds like APP is looking for the media.

Now Premier won’t even boot up. Everything else in Production Premium does load up but Premier.

Will I have to do a complete uninstall of all the Premium apps then install everything again again? Never had to do this before with any app.

    Thanks

How about if you trash the prefs?

Have no idea why but preview and program video is now visable. Shut everything down, then relaunched and installed updates.

    thanks
