  What kind of computer do I need for Premiere CS5.5?

  Hello everyone,
  I want to build a strong computer that will be able to work fluently with full-HD layers, and also will be good for work at After Effects and Avid 5.5.

  My budget is around 1800-2000$ while I don’t need any other hardware.
  I’ll be very happy for any kind of advise.

  It’s hard to say without knowing what your other hardware is and how you acquire your HD footage. How many PCIe slots and at what speeds are needed? Do you need USB 3.0 or FW? You say Full HD, so are you coming SDI-HD from an HDCAM deck to some kind of hardware? What HD format are you editing?
  There are a lot of good options available, but more info would be needed to make any kind of suggestion.
