  CS 5.5.1 and matrox mx02 5.51 = no output

  The matrox preset is not showing up in the timeline options for premiere. I have tried all of the various key combinations to reset the preferences with no change. i went into the user docs area and deleted the 5.5 folder with no change.
  after effects works perfectly fine with the MX02 mini via the hdmi output and running through the wysiwyg config for the matrox displays fine on the external monitor as well so this does seem to be a premiere issue. any ideas?

  Hi John,

  Verify that you are using the Matrox 5.5.1.44 driver with CS5.5.1

  Next, hold down the SHIFT key while launching Premiere – this will reset some internal workings of Adobe and usually does the trick. If that doesn’t work, try holding down CTRL + SHIFT + ALT while launching.

  In Premiere, right-click in Program Monitor window and make sure Playback Resolution is set to FULL. In Preferences, set PLAYER to MATROX.

  Yes to everything though in the preferences, Matrox shows up in the Device Control section but in the Player Settings section, i only have the Adobe player option available
  I have tried both key combinations when launching but without any sort of dialog box confirming the presets are being reset, who knows if it’s actually doing anything?

  Hi John,

  Are you saying that when looking at New Sequence options, there are no folders for “Matrox SD” or “Matrox HD”?

  When you install stuff, are you the Administrator? We’ve seen issues when there are multiple user accounts set up on the system.

  we are a company of 200 people so multiple user accounts is a given. i am using a maintenance account with full admin privs.

  last try was installing cs5 with 5.0 matrox software as that does work in our two other edit suites. CS5.51 seems to be the troublemaker. it’s particularly frustrating that after effects works fine

  The Matrox folders are located in the presets location on the drive but do not appear in the Premiere UI
