Can Adobe Premiere Pro output to 1024 x 768 at 24 fps?
Second time using PP today and I have a basic question! I am try to create an end quick time file that is 1024 x 768. My After effects quick times exported at 1024 x 768, but my PP sequence seems to default to 720 x 576 as it’s out put?
It recognizes my footage as 1024 x 768, but won’t play nice? Can anyone help?

Hi Steven,
I often use 1024×768 for editing my Camtasia training presentations at 15fps. In Premiere, just go to File > New Sequence, pick a sequence preset then click the “Settings” tab and customize the frame size, frame rate, etc. to suit your needs, then click SAVE PRESET with a new name. This will create a new preset under the Custom tab.

Hi Jeff, I had another look and thanks to your advice, I sorted it! It was greyed out initially, but when I changed to “Desktop” in a preference, it allowed me to change it. So thank you!

Right Steven, you need to set it to “Desktop” in Premiere Pro CS5 for any custom sequence settings. The same holds true for Premiere Pro CS5.5, except that the setting says, “Custom”.

Hi Jeff, many thanks for your previous assistance, I just now have the problem of exporting 1024 x 768 as there does not seem to be any preset that allows for this dimensions? I have tried to “tweak” the preset in Media Encoder but this seems to distort the footage. Can I export at 1024 x 768? I am ideally looking at the quick time format.
