Output issue premiere
Hi – I usually produce video material for internet use, but I have recently finished a project that needs to appear on tv.
I have received the specs from the station, but can’t seem to match my video file with the specs. If someone can give me the correct process I would really appreciate it.
Source media is canon 5d mark 2 video, and graphics produced in photoshop.
I originally setup the project to the finished output size [720 x 576] but it appears that might not have been the correct approach. Since then I have started recompiling the whole sequence [big job] in 1080p[full res] with the intention of outputting at the requested format/size – BUT when I do a test, even though it suggests that it will produce a file of 720 x 576, it still appears in the original aspect ratio. I need to be able to see where the video will crop as I am overlaying an element in one scene – and position is important.
Here are the specs that I need to work with.

• MPEG-2 Program Stream @ 15Mbps PAL 720 x 576
• QuickTime Movie H.264 @ 15Mbps PAL 720 x 576
Upper (or Odd) field dominance. No mixed fields.
If vision plays back with field dominance causing a vision
stutter error, use progressive scan or de-interlace.
Import master export into SD PAL 720 x 576 sequence /
project. Export acceptable file formats listed above.• PAL 25 fps
• Upper (1st or Odd) field dominant
• Resolution 720 x 576
• Luminance level not to exceed 700mU (digital scope) or 100% (analogue scope)
• Black level not to drop below 0mU
• Chroma level not to exceed 100%
• Titles and graphics are in 4:3 titlesafe
• No visable drop-outs or noise
• Video duration matches clapper details -
