i’ve noticed an annoying thing which i hope someone can help with. when i add a simple page turn (video transition), premiere adds extra frames from the source – even though i’ve already chopped out the parts i want and put them on the timeline. i can see, halfway through the pageturn, the 2nd video is starting before my cut. Is this a ‘feature’? how can i stop it?
    Thanks.

That is correct: its all about handles.
You probably need to trim the revealing clip a bit more.
Or move the transition to right (start at cut)

    Johnny, about your signature:
It’s quite possible to know an atypical set of people and have more than half be either above average or below average for the general population.

    Of course.
But its still a thought provoking and witty comment.
(It actually transpires that each and everyone of us subconsiously aims to be the average of all our friends)
