  I have Prem. Pro CS3, can I capture AVCHD format? I am just a beginner learning, if this is possible some hints of the process would be great.

  Upgrade to a higher version. CS3 does not support AVCHD.
  Or use a intermediate format like Cineform (NeoScene).
