Can someone help me understand how to us the import presets in PP CS4. I shot my video w/Canon Vixia HF S11 set at 60i(standard) and 24Mps (which to my understanding is 1920×1080 (is that 1080i or 1080p?).

Now when I set up to start my new project sequence in PP CS4 I dont know what to pick when starting my editing, the camera was set at 24Mbps I know its AVCHD then when I open up to use in PP CS4 which do I pick?: There are several choices of how you shot your video.

So when I start a new project I pick AVCHD and here are some of my choices, which one do I pick:
    1080i30 (60i)
    1080p30
    1080i30(60i) anamorphic 1920×1080

    Thank you,
    Sean

    Hi Sean,

If you shot 60i, then choose the 1080i30 (60i) preset.

You may find the native AVCHD footage sluggish to edit; if that is the case, conversion to an intermediate codec like Cineform NeoScene makes editing much more responsive.
