  cannot switch from NTSC to PAL for capture from an SD card Camcorder

  Hi there,

  I’m trying to capture footage off a Panasonic SDR-S7 through a Matrox board using AV cables which is all I have been provided with.
  I’m using Premiere pro and am still at the basic stages of learning how to use it as I come from the Final Cut Pro world.
  When I attempt to capture the footage from the camera it shows up in black and white and flickers.
  I suspect this is occurring due to the fact that I am unable to change one of the settings from NTSC to PAL.
  The area where one would normally be able to change from NTSC to PAL is not able to be selected.
  Can anyone please help!!
  I’ve just started this new job and they expect results.
