    Hi,

I’m new to Premire Pro. I’ve been trying to make a full res Quick Time file like in FCP by going to make QT movie. PP does not seem to have this option. I have to use Encoder, and I just seem to get the same old crappy results unlike using the FCP command. Does any one have any tips?
    I’m shooting xdcam 1080 i HQ.

When i render i use the qicktime photo-jpg codec. You adjust the resolution and the aspect ratio accordingly to your needs. In premiere pro, just go to file > export > movie and then choose quicktime and you will find those settings under that.
