Exporting problems
Hey everyone, I am having some trouble exporting my work in premiere Pro CS3. I have had it for a while now, but just recently got around to working on the videos i need. Basically I am using a 22″ monitor, playing games at 1680×1050, and using FRAPS to record sessions at half the screen size, ending up with what seems to be 840×524 avi files as my raw footage. My problem is I can’t seem to get premiere to recognize this.
I have tried many of the default project presets, and have even tried making custom presets, using the 840×524 resolution, with varying ratios selected. When I edit this footage it shows up in the upper right hand section (sorry, don’t know what the frame is called) it shows a large black area around the actual video. When i export the video, the footage shows up maybe a quarter of the size of the actual frame, so my video ends up as a tiny blurry square in the center of the media player. What am I doing wrong?

Fraps uses a fraps codec. All footage should be decompressed or recompressed to a lossless codec before editing. I use AVS Video Converter.
Regarding your frame size, both dimensions should be divisible by 16, you should change both.
Resize the video with Video Effect/Distort/Transform.Just a few ideas.
