  shortcuts don’t work any more

  I deleted some demo plug-ins that I cant use anymore, and then when I start AE and it gives me this message saying : ” KCHR resource not found. Keyboard short cuts will be disabled”. I re-installed AE but even that would not help. My short cuts don’t work even the ” delete key”. Please Help. Note: it’s AE 6.5 pro. Thank you.

  maybe try deleting the preferences file (this file doesn’t get removed when you re-install)- I can’t exactly remember where it is located….somewhere in your user files i think. Search the archives for “preferences” and it should come up.
