  No audio in Premiere 6.5

  I took apart my computer and put it back together. A Matrox RT2000, a soundblaster 16 audio card and a fast-trak RAID card to stripe the audio drive and the video drive, (three hard-drives in all). This all worked fine before I rebuilt the computer.

  The operating system, (win2k), gets audio fine. But I don’t get audio in Premiere 6.5. When I open up Premiere’s audio mixer I do get activity shown in the audio levels, but no sound.

  I seem to remember having an issue with that, once. Maybe you just need to run the OS update?
  Maybe, check your project settings to make sure the audio is set to run from your desktop, and not to DV hardware.
