Holding first AND last frame of sequence

I wasn’t sure if I should post this text to this forum or the Pro-forum (don’t know if the latter means forum for professionals or Premiere Pro), but since I’m a newcomer to the world of Premiere as I bought a licence for the old Premiere Pro 1.5 version I thought that this post would fit the basics-forum.
I’m working on a small movie and I have added a 40 PNG-images long clip to my project. For this clip, I want to hold the first frame for 50 frames before playing the clip, and then hold the last frame for another 50 frames before fading out.
What I have done is putting three copies of the clip to the timeline, setting the first clip to duration 1 (right-click -> speed/duration) and then holding “in point” (right-click -> Frame Hold), leaving the second clip untouched and then repeating the duration/hold for the third clip.
Is there a better/quicker way to achieve the same results, without having three copies of the same clip?

Welcome to the forums.
They are not three copies of the clip but three instances of the same clip.
What you have done is correct and very efficient.
You will also find links to many free tutorials in the PremiereProPedia that will quickly show you how things are done in Premiere Pro.
