I have a couple questions, I am changing over from Canopus Edius to Adobe CS 3or 4 for my wedding edits. The question I have is I have digital juice backgrounds which are 4:3 I shoot in 16X9 now in Edius I have the “Layout” tool which lets me stretch the 4:3 to work with my 16X9 footage. How would I do this im Premiere?

    Thanks
    Randy

One way is to use scale to make the 4:3 footage fill the 16:9 frame.

You will also find links to many free tutorials in the PremiereProPedia that will quickly show you how things are done in Premiere Pro.

    Cheers

No, that does what it says. You want to scale larger than the framesize to fill the frame without distortion. However there will be a hit in quality.
