  • tiff sequence drops one frame on export

I am importing a tiff sequence from an Avid Symphony, doing my “tweaks” and then exporting a tiff sequence back for the edit. When I export the sequence, I noticed that the sequence is one frame short of the sequence I originally pulled in. It seems like the footage is also one field off of the original source footage exported from the avid. What setting do I need to adjust to export the same amount of frames?

    Thanks in advance!

Make sure that the image sequence is interpreted with the correct framerate, and that the comp settings match.

First check the image sequence framerat in the footage interpretation window, and then drag the image sequence in the project window onto the ‘new composition’ button. It will create a new comp matching exactly the properties for the image sequence.

    Hope this helps,
