  DV Capture/export issue

  Hi,
  Im running premiere pro on a resonably well spec’d pc but im having problems with captured DV. When im capturing, the video in the capture window has wavey lines through it.. in both the editing windows, its plays back fine and i can edit as normal, but when i export, the video once again has the wavey lines running through it.. I know theres many possible reasons for playback problems in premiere, but given the type of problem i describe, can anyone advise me as to where the problem most likely is? any help would be very much appreciated…..

  I’ve heard of issues using different brand cams – say, Sony DV recording captured through a Panasonic cam, for instance.
  Are you “capturing” DV or some other format into DV?
