To start off I learned on Final cut pro and decided to switch over. In final cut when you recorded audio on 2 channels it imported it as two channels. So i could have a boom mic pic up good audio on one channel and then have the cam mic for background ambience. In premiere it seems to just combine the two audio channels. I am using a dvx100b if this plays into the question at all.

And so far when i import 60i i just set my project to dv ntsc standard and then hit capture, and for 24pa i set up my project to dv 24p standard and capture. DO i have to make any other changes in menu settings? like for when i capture I dont have to hit any other selections?

I hope these questions are clear, thanks.
