  Newbie question about encoding

  Members,

  I am new to video editing. I hope I have selected the right forum. I have Premiere 6.5. I saw that when I select to export timeline> movie> settings there is no choice for Mpeg2. Is it hidden or just not there?

  It has been a long time since I used 6.5 but if I remember correctly it did not export Mpeg2, you have to export as .avi and then use a separate encoder to convert to Mpeg2, like TMPGenc, Cinemacraft or Mainconcept.
