  Is it worth it to get Premiere 2.0?

  I’m learning AVID now and liking it. I’m thinking about getting a copy of Premiere 2.0 because I’m hearing that its a great program to use. I want to know if it is worth getting Premiere or should I stick with AVID?

  I prefer Premiere Pro over Avid, primarily because I don’t like Avid’s modal way of editing. However, if you are happy with Avid, why are you considering switching over?
