  • Creating short movie with digital still camera jpegs

    Hello,

I need to create a fancy “slideshow/movie” with transitions. I have about 700 jpegs that I need to show in sequence and export to DVD. I thought I read somewhere that I could do this with my Premiere Standard software, but I am a bit new to it and cannot seem to find a tutorial on how to begin. The images are quite large (7.2mp camera) and there are so many that it would be hard to take each one into my Photoshop CS software to reduce the image size. Is there any way to work with the existing images in Premier Standard or is there any utility that can reduce the image size on a batch of jpegs all at once and then bring them into Premiere for motion slidewhow and then export to DVD? DVD must be the final media and I must have nice transitions between the jpegs, but quicker than the dvd players use when showing a photo CD of the jpegs.

Hope someone can help with a short tutorial.
    Thanks.
