How do I create a still image after razoring a frame to be edited into a photo in Photoshop CS? I have video that I need a single frame from to make a photo. Thanks..

Ron, you need to create the still from your video editing software. What video software are you using? Editors like Avid and Premiere Pro have export features that allow you to export a single frame. From there you can open the image in Photoshop and apply the deinterlacing filter to soften the jaggy edges.

LOL! Sorry… forgot what forum I was in. In Premiere Pro, park your playhead over the frame you want. Then go to File–>Export frame. In the export dialog window you can click settings to select the format still you’re exporting.

Thanks. That worked. I used to know a keystroke short cut for 6.5 but I forgot it. I reopned the file in Premiere and it worked fine. Thanks again…
