  uploading problems with HDV1080i(50i) and DVCAM(50i) on same time line ?

  hello …

  whilst importing footage into Final Cut Pro it appears that the footage has been recorded differently :

  half of the tapes are in HDV1080i(50i) format, with the other tapes recorded as DVCAM(50i)

  subsequently, when i attempt to upload the tape footage recorded in/on DVCAM(50i) –

  an error window appears stating that FCP is ‘Unable to Initialise Capture Device’

  and has stopped me and my urgent edit dead in my tracks …

  Can anyone please tell me how i can upload and edit both together, somehow, please ?
