    minimally I would think.

Has there been much improvement since 7.6?

The installers will still be available and as long as ProRes can
be read, no problem for me.

Never use the QT player app anyway. I use VLC for almost everything

    System:
    Dell Precision T7600 (x2)
    Win 7 64-bit
    32GB RAM
Adobe CC 2014 (as of 7/2015)
    256GB SSD system drive
4 internal media drives RAID 5
Typically cutting short form from HD MP4 and P2 MXF.

I tried deleting Quicktime 7. However, when I opened Premiere, it lost many of my old Quicktime movies in the timeline. I tried to relink them, then I got an error message and the clips were deleted. I have a lot of .mov’s in our system because we edit on Macs and PC’s. Anyone else see this?
