  ProRes on Windows PC with Premiere Pro

  I am an avid editor but my client wants the next project in Premiere. I edit on PCs and the footage (two cameras) is going to be recorded on a convergent Design Apollo in ProRes. Since I am not very familiar with Premiere is this going to cause any issues? I need to make sure Premiere on my PC is going to be able to read, play and eventually export a master MXF file for broadcast. I am appreciative of any advice I can get up front and any warnings you may have. Thanks in advance.

  I can tell you I have been able to download and use content in Premiere Pro on our PC-based systems with the ProRes codec. Just can’t output to ProRes without additional software.

  System:
  Dell Precision T7600 (x2)
  Win 7 64-bit
  32GB RAM
  Adobe CC 2014 (as of 7/2015)
  256GB SSD system drive
  4 internal media drives RAID 5
  Typically cutting short form from HD MP4 and P2 MXF.
