Reverse Clip Deletion?
So say I am doing interviews and the company wants a blooper reel after the fact I have trimmed out all of the bad takes. Is there a way to copy and paste the current trimmed interviews onto another timeline and then do a reverse trim? (I’m not even sure the correct words to ask)—meaning, delete the good stuff and fill the timeline with the stuff I originally didn’t want but now do?

One way to show what portions of clips have been used in your edit is to splice to the tail of the sequence all the original footage. Then turn on (under the timeline wrench icon) “Show duplicate frame markers.” Color lines will appear on the clips where duplicated.
