How to display multicam sequence after trimming in expand tracks mode?
Posted by Leaning Less on February 22, 2016 at 11:53 amAfter editing i need to get edited sequence in expand mode (as on a chess board), but not source sequence. Such action is in Vegas Pro (Expand to Multiple Tracks).

Your question might make sense in “Vegas” speak but it’s gibberish in a Ppro forum. What is expand mode and why do you want to use it ?

February 22, 2016 at 3:09 pmHe wants to checkerboard the edits between a couple of tracks, I think…
since you have multicam edits…
with the sequence panel active
use the Find Command (command or control F)
search for all clips with a matching name
Find ALL
drag to a different video layer…
that ought get you where you want to go….

February 23, 2016 at 6:41 pmThank you! Probably this method solves my question. But how to drag the video to different layers if each of the seven cameras has more than hundred of files? Or i need to find selected video in project on timeline (Reveal in Timeline) for selecting and drag all videos from first camera, second and so on.

February 23, 2016 at 9:48 pmif you have 7 cameras
then you have to “FIND ALL” in the sequence for each one 7 differnt clip names…one per camera).
when you FIND ALL…it will select all items with that name in the sequence.
when they are highlighted….
you can drag them as a group to a different track…
