Would someone be kind enough to let me know which method can be used to dramatically accelerate a movie as can be seen for instance at
    https://www.facebook.com/TSOPhotography
Do I have to shot a continous video and thereafter eliminate (for instance 30 frame over 31) at the editing stage or do I have to use a special device that enable my camcorder to operate only a certain fraction of the time?

Thank you Tero for this reference, unfortunately neither my camcorder (Sony 4K FDR-AX33) nor my smartphone (Huawei Ascend G600) or my Ipad2 are quoted as capable of time-lapse video creation. My be here is amethod I shall try to sample one frame over 100 on the Premiere timeline

Hi Philippe. You will want to experiment with changing the clip speed. You may want to try setting it as high as 1000%.

If that were still too slow, you could render that out to a new clip, and then speed that new clip up.

    System:
    Dell Precision T7600 (x2)
    Win 7 64-bit
    32GB RAM
Adobe CC 2014 (as of 7/2015)
    256GB SSD system drive
4 internal media drives RAID 5
Typically cutting short form from HD MP4 and P2 MXF.
