Very frustrating issue happening in multiple projects: random clips will be missing part of their audio.

You can see the issue here: https://imgur.com/2Vn8fx5

I’ve deleted the media cache, saved new versions of the project file, moved my cache directories and tried offlining/relinking as well as rendering/replacing. Nothing seems to bring it back. Premiere will randmoly re-conform various clips in a project when it loads, but it doesn’t consistently conform files on each open.

The ONLY thing that seems to work is using timemachine to restore the project file, but I shouldn’t have to be doing this for all my projects.

Any ideas? I’ve been reading through theses forums and other sites trying fixes but can’t seem to identify the issue.

Update: I just deleted the media cache, restored the project file from this morning and let Premiere reconform and render everything. The result is that the missing audio now loops a sample from that clip: https://imgur.com/eTKN0Eo

    What I’m on:

    • Premiere CC v9.2, build 41
    • Mac Pro Late 2013
    • 3ghz 8core
    • 64 GB RAM
    • AMD Dual D500
    • Projects stored on G-Drive Raid 0, 8TB Drive, thunderbolt
    • Timemachine on a USB 3.0 8TB Drive
