  relink needed with each start — hard drive being enumerated by Premiere pro

  Hi there! Using Premiere Pro 2015.1

  This just started happening, I believe, after I opened premiere or AE without my drive (travel drive 5) attached. This drive is where I have my cache stored.

  Almost every time I’ve opened AE now, I get a “link media” dialogue at start and have to reconnect. The weird thing is that in the AE file drive menu it’s showing my hard drive with different enumerations. Like so:

  travel drive 5
  travel drive 5.1
  travel drive 5.2
  travel drive 5.3, etc.

  There’s only one drive. Travel drive 5. And I have not reformatted it or anything like that. Can’t seem to find anything about this online.
