  iMac ???? 4K????

  Can the new iMac handle 4k? I was told it can’t because it doesn’t have Cuda? Does that mean if I want to stay with mac I have to get a MacPro to edit RAW 4K in real time?

  Any specifics as far as daily formats you deal with?
  I am certain the new iMac can handle RED files easily since Im doing it on a 2008 UniMBP.

  Depends on the 4K. I can edit compressed 4K with an older iMac (eg. R3D files) easily, not in full quality though. Uncompressed 4K would need some insane disk speeds.
