  Some advice on same sequence, different machines issue

  Hi all,

  I have a sequence that was having some playback issues earlier, and being generally laggy. The sequence was built on a macbook pro, and media was provided on a drive. After looking at the forum, have changed the audio settings, and zoomed out a little which helped a bit.
  Tried copying the sequence and that imported onto an iMac. The media was identical, but was on shared storage, not a drive. Performance improved a little, but not greatly.
  Moved again to another iMac, same storage system, same media, same spec, but had no issues.

  Anyone have any idea what could be going on here, as would love to get all machines operating at best practice if possible.
