Creative Lut Problems in PP and AME
I’m using Deluts and the first problem is PP completely freezes up in Open CL mode when I switch back to software mode it acts properly but now I’m dealing with the limited processing power of software mode vs open CL when color correcting.
The second problem is AME doesn’t recognize the creative luts so I’m unable to background export. The picture comes out missing the grade. Everything works properly when I export using PP but not when I use AME. This puts a big wrench in my workflow as most exports take hours.
I have the latest update on an imac 5k.

I use “export media” from PP and then “queue” to send it to AME for export.

hmmmmmm…..
weird…beacuse that technically uses a “headless” no GUI version PPro to do the rendering….
when it’s in AME….
if you open the encoding setup….
is AME using GPU?
toggle that and see if that helps…
