  multipe GPU support – so I can just ram an assortment of GPUs in there?

  Hey there!

  So Premiere features multiple GPU support. As of now my system sports a GTX 780 TI (I also play games from time to time on my PC). I still have free PCIe slots so can I just ram a second (or third) nvidia card in there and Premiere will utilize them when exporting? Is it that simple? There are a few “cheap” used nvidia cards on ebay so I’m thinking… well, why not…?

  There are different processes that can be allocated to additional GPU cards…1 for PPro effects preview…another for CC 2014 and later Media Encoder…more recently a function was added that could use GPU for raw decoding (RED, etc).

  I wouldn’t load the machine with random GPU cards…that sounds like a roller coaster ride to me.
