    Hi,
I am relatively new to editing in Premiere Pro CC (2015). I need to color correct my project, but am wondering if I can ony use the tools on the clips in my timeline, or can I affect the master/raw footage?

Specifically, I”m working with interviews where the subject is lit the same way the whole time. Can I color correct the master shot and have the clips I put in my timeline effected, or, do I still have to go through the sequence shot by shot?

    Thanks,
    Julie

You can either apply your color correction to the master clip and it will apply across all instances of that clip, or you can place an adjustment layer above your clips and apply changes to all clips that way. Either way works.
