Masking in AE for me but maybe a Kaleidoscope plug-in.

Ive been trying to find that plugin for the past 7 days but had no luck with that.
Its like a triple mirror picture from the center, but then it gets a little turn.
any other ideas?

As far as I can tell most of his work is in-camera, not in post.
Using one of the several available multi-image filters across the front of the lens, the rotation would be achieved manually just by twisting the filter in its holder.
According to what I could find about the director, he opted for shooting vintage glass, and a lot of the visual style is old school (using multiple windows to achieve that layered ghostly shot of the artist, etc.)

I have been searching for kaleidoscope filters, triple picture filters etc., because I was sure there are some but couldnt find any. Multi-image filter is the word:)
And it could really be the case here
Although Im pretty sure it can be done in some sort of a plugin that emulates those filters..Cannot believe that nobody thought of that already? :/
