  How to edit dual mono (stereo) tracks?

  For no good reason, I have a sequence with 100+ clips recorded in stereo that were all brought in as dual mono tracks.
  It seems not possible to combine these tracks into stereo now that they’re already edited in the timeline.
  But I want to edit them with:
  overlapping edits
  cross dissolves
  level changes
  some equalization and effects

  Are there streamlined ways of doing these?
  Or do I have to perform each operation on one of the dual mono tracks and then mimic or paste an effect on the other?

  Prepared to work in either PPro (using 7.2.2) or Audition.

  For cross dissolves, make sure you have the one you wish to use set as default.

  With the playhead at the point between clips, right-click on the clips and select “Apply Default Transitions”. It will apply the default to both clips in both channels.

  As for other effects, I think you will be looking at copy/paste.

  Typically cutting short form from HD MP4 and P2 MXF.
