My PC’s drives keep getting corrupted with AE7. I’ve tested my RAM and there are no errors. I’m starting to think that maybe the problem lies with my drives being – NTFS format and not FAT. I have to De-Frag on the hour or crash.

    Please help.

I have 2 gig RAM, Dual Processor- Intel Zeon.

nope. NTFS is the way to go. Your issue is not tied to that.

    Thanks.
I spoke to my Tech guy and he said the same thing.
    Can you recomend something though?

The big problem with Fat is its 2 GB file size limit. I would start with a fresh install of AE.

Other things to check for would be the drive cable, you could even use the manufacturer’ s drive diagnostic software to check things out. If this is a new issue and none of these solve it, you may have to do a clean system install.
