I found a rather neat transition on youtube
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3VMQSYr6w9k

The effect I want to create is at the beginning of the video around the 9 second mark. The video of the girl swivels to reveal a screen behind it which they then add animated text to. I know how to swivel but not how to do it as an effect so the change is gradual like in the video. Any ideas on how I would create a scene like this?

They might have the anchor point set to the left edge and some ease in on the key frames.

    Not too hard to do…

Thanks for the reply. I am new to Premiere. Any chance you could provide a quick tutorial? Thanks.

If you’re just trying to smooth the movement, right click your start and end keyframes individually, go to Temporal Interpolation, and select Ease Out and Ease In respectively.

That worked perfect. Thanks so much. One last question. At the 24 second mark it has the word Shortstop on the screen and then a black paint splatter effect behind it. What do you call that type of effect? I want to search for something similar to do in my video. Thanks.
