  Relink different AE composition into PR

  Hello folks,

  So, I know that I can replace a clip in premiere with an AE composition.

  Once I do that, the clip is connected to an AE composition, from an AE project.

  Now: In PR, is there a way to replace the AE composition with another composition (from the same AE project) ?

  When I right click on my linked comp from the PR project window, the replace footage option is grayed out…

  hmmm….

  maybe the juggling can be done in AE…

  since you have the comp in ae…

  could you

  duplicate that comp in AE so you don’t loose that work…

  but then delete what is in that comp and nest your perferred comp in that comp…

  that way you don’t need to change the relationship between PPro and AE, but you get the result you want?
