    Hi,

I’ve got an edit of Apple ProRes 422 HQ clips. When I go to export trimmed clips with the project manager, the only options that appear even remotely correct, under Consolidate and Transcode > Quicktime are “Match Source Apple ProRes 422” and “Match Source Apple ProRes 422 (LT)” Where is Match Source Apple ProRes 422 (HQ)? There is an option to import a preset – is this what I use to get what I want? If so, how do I set it up and how do I import the preset?

You would want to create a custom preset for ProRes 422 HQ. Go to Export Settings (Export Media) or AME, set Format to QuickTime. Under the Video tab, set the Video Codec to Apple ProRes 422 (HQ) and click the Match Source button. Hold down the Opt/Alt key and click the Save Preset button (upper right next tot he Preset pulldown menu). This will allow you to export a preset.

Open the Project Manager and click the Import Preset button. Import your custom preset.
